You're right and history will repeat.....
I first came into MIN when they made and I accepted an off market scrip bid for Mesa Minerals back in 2010.
Their offer triggered an on market buying spree by a Chinese guy who wanted their manganese assets . Memory suggests on market price barely went above MIN offer. They only secured 64% off market and then they played long.
They eventually got the numbers to delist.
The Chinese guy watched his investment go to near zero. Years later, by chance, I saw an AFR article that he took MIN to court over governance/suspension of all development activity with Mesa and failed.
Chris is a hard arse capitalist with deep pockets, playing the long game.
By all means, play your own game.
