Smells like a hijacking
So a large shareholder (perhaps hidden in the form of several holders) has decided they can do a better job, or just want a better seat at the table (or more pie), looking to roll most of the board. Waiting now for a letter to shareholders from this group telling us how our interests have not been looked after and that they are the only ones that can pull this off.
Have been here before, don't like this feeling...
