Agree.
The deal gets Electrum & Paulson out. They entered years ago hoping for a huge discovery . . .didn't pan out that way. Too illiquid to sell so selling for paper of a larger liquid player makes good sense for them. Development as standalone too tricky ... they have big boardroom say and needed a way out.
Price and timing are poor for the other 80% of holders getting less per ounce that it cost to discover ... and an extremely low price based on high level compcos ...
Maybe its the right price for reasons we cant understand from outside the company ... reasons that could be explained clearly by an IE report ... i doubt it but am open minded.
