It is indeed all very odd, and with no proper answers we do have to consider many possible scenarios including who is really to blame for Morila missing guidance, and/or what specific incidents may have triggered the various resignations that followed.

Eric Hughes on the 249D this week speaks volumes to me. I have to suppose that he and Cowden are still aligned unless someone can point to a falling out between the pair. If Eric is so opposed to the board’s current plans that he’s willing to publicly join the requisitioning members like this, it really piques my curiosity over what truly occurred in June of last year. He would have one of the best understandings of anyone regarding the true state of affairs at Morila at the time of his handover to Plant, as well as the intricacies of the Mali contractor, legal & government relationships, and still pretty deep lines of communication into Mali, or so one would think.

It is worth noting too that the mining of Morila since FFX “walked away” in Nov, and the millions of dollars in
gold sales trumpeted on social media for the benefit of “who knows?” has also all occurred under Fraser’s watch. Who exactly has been operating our mine, Mister Chairman?
