It will be interesting to see how the upcoming resolutions are voted

circa 6% of shareholders have backed the “convening shareholders” calling for a GM, probably many more aligned but didn’t want to join the group

At the AGM 52% of shareholders voted against the remuneration resolution, however 73% voted for the re-election of Brad Gordon.

So there was dissent amongst the majority, but not enough to vote down Gordon’s re-election

Now we’ll get to vote on the removal of Gordon, Fraser & Hepburn as well as the election of 2 Directors from the convening shareholders.

IMO the incumbent directors will probably retain their positions (based on the AGM vote only 6 weeks ago), hopefully 1 or 2 of the new Directors will be voted in.

Such an outcome should “keep the bastards honest” however I’m not sure too much extra information will filter down to shareholders due to asx/asic inside information rules and non disclosure clauses.

It has certainly put the incumbent Directors on notice and will eventually shed some light on how this all happened.
