It was an excellent podcast interview overall. I too couldn’t help but draw parallels to the FFX situation when it came to management rewards and incentives. Rick Rule’s contrarian views on O&G and coal investments are always refreshing too. It is great when these old masters get to a point in their life where their main motivation is to pass on to a younger generation their learnings & wisdoms gleaned from the successes & mistakes made during the course of their own careers. There is a certain decency & duty of care to that which is increasingly lacking in the peacocks & clout seekers of today.
