Assuming that you had $10k to invest; should you buy OPTIONS or SHARES ?
(Note, the investment amount makes no difference to the comparison only to the size of the profit being compared)
Let's assume that the share price will reach $1.00 by JUNE 2018 (the options expiry date)
At current prices: $10k will buy 66,667 Ordinary shares OR 333,333 options.
At a strike price of 50 cents you will need to stump-up $166,667 to exercise the options, hence you will be looking at selling immediately, and realizing a profit of $156,667 - not bad on a $10k investment!
However, you will no longer have an investment in LCK.
By comparison, to make the same profit by buying ordinary shares the share price would need to reach $2.50
Question, assuming $1.00 at June 2018, how long after before the share price reaches $2.50 ?
Tell me punk, do you feel lucky? Well do ya?
I am thinking an each way bet; which is why I bought OPTIONS and SHARES.
