The point of part ownership in a company is not just hoping that someone will buy that part ownership from you for a higher price. There's a term for schemes that rely solely on that - Ponzi schemes. The point of part ownership in a company is largely to recoup return on investment via ongoing revenue stream in the form of dividends.

If and when Dave and his team of people turn this into a company that issues dividends from real earnings, then I'll join the circle jerk and label "Great Man" myself.
