    agreed, I was one of those who was annoyed about the notes

    still, if coal had collapsed or if Nhc had managed to buy mt Arthur at a song, then the extra 200mil in the bank would have been worthwhile.

    i don’t know, but I suspect the time and cost for the notes would have been much higher/longer if shareholders were offered them
