Just seen Sky news AM - that the NT have still been unable to successfully connect 3 large solar farms to the grid. Its been 4 years since they were commissioned....
And as we all know you just cant put renewables like any other energy straight into the main supply.
They all require storage.
Pretty obvious - but it seems these governments just plough ahead thinking intermittent renewables just works directly connected.
The Utility know it - thats why they wont accept the system be connected - so why do these farms continually be granted approval?
Easy fix up there --- Battery Storage to harness every day and then supply it to the grid out on a regulated controlled BESS
