Agree Champee, there are plenty of questions to be answered in time. I suggest there are no answers until changes are thrashed out, and the new entrants are in as directors, but I was chatting on another thread about 1pg not long ago so I will copy it here. Will be plenty of discussion to come. IMO.
"Also at some stage with 1pg, someone has to value the business.
Loss making yes, extravagant R and D budgets yes, too many staff on big tickets yes, but it's had hundreds of millions spent on it, it's internet traffic is going through the roof, many Fortune 500 companies as clients yes, and the concept is very good as people who pushed it to $5 will tell you. Just burning too much cash, but once it becomes lean, what is it worth.?
Microsoft bought linked in for 26 billion or so. Article below.
"IN A surprise, multibillion-dollar deal, Microsoft officially added LinkedIn to its business network overnight.
The Washington-based software giant paid more than $26.2 billion to acquire LinkedIn, a social network aimed at business people, which counts more than 433 million members worldwide.
Microsoft chief executive Satya Nadella said the network had built a “fantastic business centred on connecting the world’s professionals” that could be used to boost Microsoft’s business-focused software."
Not saying this is linked in, but similar concept.
So the 1pg business is worth somewhere between $0 and $26 billion.
Then there,s the $34 mill cash which could get 5 IAMs well underway with the PW format.
Well you see where I,m going with this!.
