I say that because passengers on the cruise liner "TMT" thought they had signed up for a once in a lifetime island tour across the Indian Ocean, only to find out that Captain Prentice had been navigating the ship toward the Red Sea, where the AVL "Houthi" rebels were laying in wait to take over the ship. "What the hell are we doing in the Red Sea", the passengers cried, as they were offloaded from the ship at gunpoint.

But seriously, if you want to try to understand why many long term TMT holders might be feeling annoyed about this merger, just go back and read the last conference presentation that they did, before the merger was announced - the New World Metal Conference on 12 Sept 2023. It was 41 pages saying how wonderful were their achivements to date and how golden were their future plans. But this was all being advertised whilst in reality, their plan was well advanced to simply sell out TMT to AVL, lock stock and barrel. The whole saga is simply a disgrace.
