I don't think it's too far off topic to discuss crypto vs gold. In fact, I kinda view SOLG the same: risk on Cu, risk off AU take your pick!
Another way of thinking, approx 50% of gold is actually used. Jewellery, etc. The rest a store of wealth. So is gold now a half hedge against fiat and BTC a 100% hedge?
