I agree with everytthing you stated, you are absolutely spot on and in fact I had the exact same thoughts as what you wrote "......significant share issues is that the poor old retail shareholder has no idea (unless they have some inside running) until the transaction is basically done, company goes into a Trading Halt, and then it's too late to react" which is why every small shareholder like us is absolutely livid with EVN's board.
