Americans may not know how our salary sacrifice works. I will give a simple explanation for eg joe makes $1000 a week and salary sacrifices $200 towards shares meaning he only pays tax on the $800. I might also these little perks are not available to the average worker. the Average worker can only do it if it goes into superanuation. Nurses and healthcare workers can also do it and basically pocket the untaxed money.
