Dead right, @hightrax. Smiley and his friends will be booted out in October, of course, but there’s still no clear indication from the LNP that it will restore the royalties regime to a more moderate (and internationally competitive) level. As I’ve said before, the coal companies and business lobby groups should be working hard to extract such a commitment from Crisafulli.
