Yep good points raised here, so shares trading now ex voting rights means no purchases now can get them over the line.

Very interesting games being played, but this will basically be their (PVLs) one shot to get it done as I found: "Waiting Period (s203D(3)) If a resolution to remove a director fails, shareholders cannot propose another resolution to remove the same director within the next 12 months, unless the company’s constitution allows otherwise."

So they will need to wait 12 months to do this again, and no doubt in those 12 months PER will need to raise again, and will be raising with no cash, so who knows if PVL will even be interested.

Maybe thats why we are seeing selling today, PVL selling what they bought knowing the votes wont get through especially since James Garner bought more.

Explains why James Garner bought the $475k worth of shares last week, basically he had to pay 475k to keep his job. Makes complete sense, pay 475k, get more voting rights so you can vote to keep yourself in, keep paying yourself $800k + a year.

I unfortunately think more of the same is not a good thing, and the current board will stay, they will bleed the company dry with their salaries, do a consolidation, name change, and then do the whole story again for another decade on sweet salaries whilst shareholders dont make a thing. Seen it too many times on the ASX unfortunately.
