Absolutely.
The appointment of the CEO is a board issue and does not require shareholder approval, whereas the appointment of directors does.
My guess is that this will get through, and that they will then move on CEO and senior management.
A bit of bad planning on the part of Mr. Bart though. He could have waited a couple of weeks and forced a spill motion at the AGM and not expect investors to front up to an EGM followed by an AGM a few weeks later
