I would have thought any discussions in relation to an acquisition would have to reach a certain point before it would be deemed necessary to release an announcement to shareholders? You would need a certain amount of content to be agreed in principle for shareholders to make an informed decision, so it could still be a possibility behind the scenes... although unlikely at this stage.

Next cab off the rank is the results of the last batch of wafers. From here, we will know what to expect next. An IMEC extension or everything progressing as planned followed by third party interest?
