    Given he was a student of Landau, I think you'll likely find that there was probably a bunch of 'commissions' paid to him, via some offshore company, for 'introductions' to the DRC gold projects and to the finance company (that didn't deliver on the funding) and then to Magna & Riverfort for the financing there too...
