l guess the issue in the back of my mind Optimistus is if you have accumulated some over the decades it’s fairly easy to replicated the index or large LIC’s. By the time you have bought BHP CBA CSL WES WOW COL WPL you already hold most of the index.
if you starting out or busy the big LIC’s are best. If your retired and need stable income LIC’s are great. If you leaving legacy and the new owners have never held shares LIC’s are and easy no cost base adjustments.
the danger with the Au market is its so small. Hence ALI might be the go. Cheers
