"buy in gloom sell in boom, I think you got it the wrong way around - sounds like a bit of panic selling. Yes you’re justifying your sell with biased reasoning. Trashing the companies strategy in a nice way. I’ll think of you when you the SP bounces back and I wonder what your reasoning will be then. Biotech investing is not for the feint of heart and another one bites the dust. GLA MOO"

I didn't sell all of my holding. Although I have since sold some more. Approx breakeven overall. I don't know if you have noticed, but now into fifth day of falling SP. If you believe any of the twaddle on these threads then the falls are because of shorters, even though the number of shorted shares has been consistently around 3 to 3.5 million for weeks (= not changing much, for the benefit of those who don't have a clue). I sold because the SP is falling, messaging is poor and risks have been ignored. Which probably explains much of the falls.

NEU is difficult to value because there won't be any returns to shareholders for a few more years, unless one of the imaginary t/o's happen. If all goes well, then in three or four years time it could be worth $30, or more. But there are many risks. e.g. Management is currently throwing $50m at a buyback. When they could have paid a special dividend which would have been positive for the SP. Would have been nearly 60 cents a share including franking credits. (If there aren't enough credits available then there will be if they wait.) Even better, they should hang onto the cash. They can always splash it later if things go well.

No divs for years, so it's a long-term hold. Alternatively, with NEU's legendary volatility its a short-term traders stock. (I think that much of the recent SP action is due to just a few big traders.)

For a while, I had intended to hold NEU long-term, but now I have added NEU to the list of stocks that I sometimes short-term swing trade. I expect to continue to trade NEU from time to time.

Some of the posts on these threads from medical experts are excellent, as are some of the posts from experienced market traders. However, I won't be posting much here from now on, just occasionally. Too many delusional posters here, particularly some of the anti-shorters.

For what it's worth, t/a shows a support just above $13.00. If that breaks then $12.00 is the next big support.
