None of us on the boards knows for sure why the drill was so late in the season, the drill was cheap by previous standards so perhaps we compromised on spud date. I can understand why some see as a lost opportunity.
However the company did tell us that well in advance of the spud so even if disappointing there was no surprise.
As for Salaries & performance rights I share the concerns of many, I might be thinking wrongly but at last years EGM the company effectively reworked the performance rights to lower the VWAP basis from I believe 3c in DW's time to 1c.
Sent a bad message to me at least.
