In this case they lapsed because whoever they were attached to is no longer with the company.
The company's sales performance was decent as reported at the half yearly and there is no reason to think that has changed.
The SP is getting hit due to the uncertainty around Synlait and what it might mean for A2M. It is not 'no reason whatsoever'.
It is also hard to know what management could reasonably say about Synlait's situation that would remove any uncertainty. What specifically would you like them to say? It's not like they can guarantee Synlait's finances. They can't really say 'hey, we're going to takeover Synalit', even if they had intentions on making an offer, as it would reveal their hand. I get the frustration with the situation but what would you like management to say or do, specifically?
