I don't think there is anything adverse with this announcement. These appear to be "loan shares" issued to employees that are "paid" by a loan given to the employee by the company. The loan shares are effectively unpaid shares. Most of the loan shares are out of the money, they were issued at a higher price than the current SP. When an employee with loan shares leaves the company then the loan needs to be settled. The employee is currently facing a loss with the value of the loan shares less than the associated loan. In this situation it appears that ACW is settling the loan by simply reversing the original share issue, technically it is buying back the shares that were issued to the employee.
