It's easy to talk about bringing in "expert negotiators". Some food for thought - RIO (one of the world's largest miners) has taken 16 years to get the Simandou iron ore project in Guinea off the ground. They got involved in 2008 with the aim of production around 2012. It's been hurdle after hurdle & a capricious Govt that kept changing its tune. Production is finally scheduled for mid to late 2025 scaling up over a 3 year period but not before time. I highlight RIO b/c if you seriously think sorting out Manono is a simple as getting "expert negotiators" perhaps you should have a chat with RIO officials.
