Ive been hoovering the last few days.
Healthcare property has been the cream of the crop for about a decade now. Ageing demographics, recession proof tennants, good yield etc.
Rates have put these things on the nose, but David was very opportunistic with the healthscope acqusition, it will be sorted - Brookfield aren't about to default.
Once the cycle turns, rates drop and everyone starts trying to chase yield again these higher quality REITS will double before your eyes. They just need to survive this cycle, how long will that be? Who knows, i suspect the rate decreases won't be far away, the underlying data I'm seeing isn't that strong.
