"The shareprice dissagree's with 'me' more"? How's that rebutal relate to how the market fundimentally values a company?
"Return on capital is why shareholders invest". Sure... How do day to day SP fluctuations effect investors? Perhaps a little affect. Nice to have emotional stability I guess. What about when the balloon pops. Who do i go to for a hug?

What benefit does a company that is not needing capital get from hyping said campany? To increase the SP for those that want to sell?? I invest to gain a share in the companies profit. No amount of hype will likley change the companies profit.
You need to realise that you are missguided to think the company cares, or should care, about the value of your individual wealth. It is not about you, Your potential weath is hopefully just a byproduct of a well run, profitable Company
