The pips are so small. I can’t trade what prices I buy MTL at market value. Last few lots have been anywhere between (IIRC) 0.23 c and 0.35 c. Lately I’m averaging 0.33 cps. I have had “At Market” orders cancelled because presumably the market can be very thin.
I have really looked at the options on MTL. As far as I know market makers usually hold roughly 1:1 of shares and options (or long/short or short/long, however it may be done). If there aren’t many options then the normal way they operate changes to very primitive (although electronic) spread taking.
Are any holders here still long on MTL call options?
