The announcements being released at this time of year are interesting. Another small and increasingly dubious company I follow (not NOV) snuck out an announcement of a large issue of options which are priced almost at the money based on the current share price but with an expiry date of 2030. All the company's fluffy announcements of good times just around the corner ring somewhat hollow when management don't even have the conviction to price options with a 7 year expiry date well out of the money.
