it’s got nothing to do with someone leaving. Existing employees, or investors, can be allocated options to buy stock at a pre defined strike price before a certain date. The strike price, in this instance, was 1.70. Since the share price is lower than the strike price the options have not been exercised and therefore have been removed from the register. It’s a good thing in that the number of fully diluted shares on the register is now lower.
