My experience is companies on the "edge" generally change auditors if the incumbent is not prepared to sign-off on things how the company wants them signed off.... but rather want to report the truth!!
Just a thought.. .hope I'll jumping at shadows!!!

Oh.. and WOT.... do you have absolute knowledge/confirmation funds have been moved to HK........ that is a massive step! Surely you are not the only one who would know this. Where has your information come from?????

Change in auditors is likely to be related to the trying to reduce costs..there was an open tender....it is good business to change your auditors every 3-5 years.
