Very fair point except that the average Kitco price for gold in 2012 was a shade under $US 1669 and the 2013 average (admitedly falling at the moment) is $US 1624. Presumably Airleg know that if they can't make it pay the operation won't continue - that should concentrate their minds and effort if nothing else will. And I'll bet that they have cut the costs as close as possible to the bare bones. (I know nothing of gold mining or Airleg but wish them and everyone including the PIs the very best of luck)
