Happy to get out today. A total of 11cps in gains and every trade positive. Small fish are indeed sweet.

I thought a large reason for the fall in PLS SP was the flood of LRS shareholders cashing out. However now I see they've been in escrow until 4May25. I wonder what will happen then? Its only 4 or 5 clear days away.

"The market can stay irrational longer than you can stay solvent" is a most relevant saying at the moment.

PLS made a A$7m loss for H1FY25. A brave decision to put the Ngungaju plant in C&M shows good capital discipline, as does the strongbox of cash.

The step up to P1000 is fantastic, especially for lowering costs. The BOD are doing everything right, although the LRS acquisition timing unfortunate.


The USA will definitely show negative GDP for Q1CY25, even after factoring out gold inflows. Q2 shows no respite at this stage but I'd expect interest rates cut in the early May25 FOMC meeting, if only to avert the 2 months technical definition of a recession.

The EU is swirling down the dunny of history.

EV demand is largely irrelevant while supply is strong and the Chinese have a strong grip on the battery chain. No amount of upramping will change that.

Maybe a bargain to be had here in the near future. Share volume has been decreasing.

Or maybe not. The shorts aren't moving. GLTAH.
