Down 9 percent in lse and 10 percent in nye,
bhp have spent a fortune in the past 18 moths ramping up the production facitities at all there mines, it was only as recently as last month they stated they are going to continue there aggresive expanision.
Commodities such as oil and copper are now at 3-5 year lows and don't look like dropping. Americas oil stockpile was at a 4 month high. Last time commodities were at that level bhp was $10 bucks, bit simplistic i know, but when you take into consideration how much they have spent expanding, stockpiles are not going to be worked through within years. Bhp is in serious trouble.
