Well, it helps to stop the bleeding of cash reserves. i assume the employees who are receiving the options in lieu of cash are perfectly happy with that.

A while ago a well-known dumper (I mean poster) states that BC was duped and was just a lackey doing the bidding of Au Xingao, that they were only interested in gold mining and would never allow AEV to pursue their phosphate ambitions. Au Xingao was poised to take full control of Wonarah when the convertible note expired, but their lackey out-manouvered them and discharged the debt owed to Au Xingao, who then walked away (they still hold heaps of AEVO). Interestingly, even though Au Xingao was only interested in AEV for their gold assets, they chose not to offer to buy those assets when their funds were returned to them. I find that very strange - I mean, why invest in the company for their gold assets and then not try to buy them at a discount when AEV needed money to settle up on their debt?

Which brings us to the current situation with Hebang taking a strategic stake in AEV. Apparently, according to our esteemed dumper (I mean poster) they will take advantage of AEV's resources, to the disadvantage of shareholders, and the easily-duped BC will once again become a lackey, collect his wages and do as he's told (you mean, like last time when Au Xingao controlled him?). And the newly-appointed executives will also be duped into accepting worthless options in lieu of cash in return for their services. BC will continue to receive his annual salary, choose not to pursue positions outside of AEV that may offer him a greater financial return (you know he's not that smart, despite out-manouvering Au Xingao and keeping the company out of administration, so he has few real alternatives to his current gravy train, according to the dumper). I suspect that the well-known dumper (sorry, poster) tends to live in a world of his own imagination.
