HKP - I wasn't replying to the thread title - I was replying to the first person to post on the thread and the last line of that post makes comment from Mo about attending the Event in the US...hence my follow up post about the convention.
So yes you are correct it has nothing to do with unquoted securities but I certainly did not post to distract form thread title and as for the politician comment feel free to put me on Ignore if you for one minute think that...!!!
Lets now talk about the thread title - this was what was voted on by all share holders - Including YOU and got passed at the agm.
Do I agree with it - Yes and No - Yes for the incentive options given to key employees to keep them at AXE for future years to come.
The strike price is at $1.79 which was set at 145% above the yesterdays SP but unfortunately with the SP fall over the last week means they are about 30 cents lower than I was hoping. (i was hoping $1.45 x 145% = $2.10)...
So with 16m options given to employees (lets not expect them all to be exercised by the way) but lets say all do - then if exercised at $1.79 this will put approx. $29M of cash back of the company... so not quite the dilution as you may think it is.... (I stand to be corrected on any of those figures).
Plus employees are not going to exercise these options if our share price sits only a few cents above $1.79 but if we are in the $2+ then yes I would expect them to do so. And yes we'd all be happier than we are now with the SP currently in the $1.20 range...
