Why would a company issue options to employees! IT sector does to keep the talent. Same for R&D sections of pharma industry and bonuses of large profit making units. A processing company doing it possibly to retain the staff when it is struggling to maintain operative cash flow positive. With BUBS issuing these options, it seems the company is desperate. If any one has more insight, please share.
