Goodness no, I wouldn't hold this trash.
I entirely agree with you about how terrible the company is, and sadly, I have to agree that it's appalling that the regulators allow this company to continue.
That being said, investors have a duty of care to themselves to do their basic research and determine which companies are worth buying/holding/trading/not touching with a 20' pole. There are plenty of good companies on the ASX, this just isn't one of them. It's your job to do your due diligence, the world is a jungle and if you just blindly trust everyone you'll be swindled by con men, mugged on the street, be fleeced by some gold digger and buy into trash like CPH. We shouldn't expect anyone to bubble wrap the world and keep us protected from everything, we need to take care of ourselves. Having said that, several people (myself included) have been discussing the realities of CPH for years, so the information you needed was here (and elsewhere) if you wanted to do your own research/due diligence.
Not that I like companies like this existing, but one good thing about them, or at least something you can use to your advantage, is that they make the market cautious about company claims, so good companies often remain undervalued during the startup phase, which allows you to get good entries and then make piles of money if you hold until their projects are proven up and in profitable operation. It requires you to do your own research and not just blindly trust, which is what we should all do anyway. Solid research brings rewards, blind trust will usually burn you, as CPH so clearly demonstrates.
Why are you still holding?
Having said all that, CPH is having a short term rally due to the marijuana law changes, and while I have no doubt we'll see prices go to new all time lows in the future, the current rally may not be over.
