700,000 options is 0.6% of the issued capital. A standard Employee Share & Option Plan (ESOP) will enable between 5% & 10% of the issued capital to be issued under the ESOP. U.S. investors are generally very happy to have 10% of the issued capital (or well above that) issued to management and employees as they are very keen to see the interests of shareholders and employees aligned.
As another poster pointed out Neuren has about 2.1% of its capital under option to employees and management. This is quite low and conservative and has my full support. For those out there that think this is excessive I suggest you check out the ESOP of every other company that you are invested in… you will probably surprised at how miserly NEU is in comparison.
