It should be remembered that these turkeys, when they were in charge of NWE, also employed consultants to prepare a document to reject the offer from MIN declaring it to be inadequate.
They never defended that position and capitulated to Chris Ellison's offer without a so much as a whimper.
The excuse that they are bandying around now is they didn't believe that there was the amount of gas resource there to justify a higher price is .... IMHO ... rubbish or straight out incompetence.
Alexii continually analysed the seismic, together with oldgeo, and posted on the NWE threads that there was the potential for a huge resource of gas together with a potentially huge resource of Oil (I don't remember oldgeo posting about Oil but I could be wrong).
We need to be vigilant regarding the decisions that could be made in the not to distant future that might be detrimental to the achieving of fair value for our PCL shares.
