    whilst it would always be good to have "stretch" targets for option conversion, I also think that some of these incentives are really just remuneration in another way. instead of giving more cash salary to these staff at immediate cost to the business, they get the ability to get some
    options at the money.

    it does take something to
    move people to a penny stock with great potential compared to going somewhere more mainstream for more money.

    if it helps get the right players on the field then whilst it may seem generous, a lot of people wouldn't move to something like Percheron without some potential upside after probably taking lower salary than they might get elsewhere.

    imo.
