I thought the idea of 'options' is having the 'options' to convert into full ordinary shares BUT not immediately or so far ahead of the expiry date.
The benefit of getting options over getting the full shares are lower cost commitment or lower exposure until the risk is derived partially or completely.
The encouragement to convert so far ahead of time in order to provide funds to the company sounds like it is another CR.
imho. I could be completely wrong. Just a bit confusing.
