Linde were getting their first ever Helium tank filled by a new supplier, and they sent a container that was not fit for filling?
If that is true, then someone at Linde should lose their job.
How many helium containers do Linde own?
If you were Linde working with a new supplier, you should ensure you sent a container that was fit for purpose.

Did Renergen provide Linde with clear requirements on the container condition?
Did Renergen attempt to inspect the Linde container prior to filling?
With so much depending on this, these are the basic measures that could and should have been taken.
But yet another issue, excuse, setback, f-up, ...... not surprised, just disappointed.
