I'm a holder who topped up again recently. Yal's cash balance and their positioning on the cost curve are the reasons why, plus 37mt of torque. Indonesian coal exports to China are finally dropping, possibly a mix of the new royalties/pricing tier references. However, one must be cognizant of the fact that YAL sells more coal of the api5500 nature rather newc6000, and the price differential has grown significant. I won't sell at these prices at this stage of the cycle but it's hard for me to justify buying more as the api5500 is pretty close to yal's breakeven after factoring in sustaining capital. Anyone care to persuade me otherwise?
