ABT, don't be so bloody obtuse, everyone in the world knows that a listed company is measured by its stock performance and rewarding poor stock performance is like giving kids gold stars and rewards for turning up!
Is the company doing so well compared to its rivals? I don't think so. Apart from the fact the shares owe me nothing, I would have been gone a long time ago.
