S.A. - The area detected is a considerable distance South East of Manna Hill. Some of the gold is found in thin veins consolidated in quartz and other patches can be found in vertically layered black schist - not far from a volcano that was active about 185 million years ago. There is a lot of 'dead quartz' around, however with closer inspection some narrow quartz veins can be detected.
