My read on that presentation was

1. New format to make a fresh face to the market
2. Emphasises the idea of a gold 'trend'
3. Slide 8 focusses on the logistics and highlights the path of the proposed Donlin Gas Line

I cant find much beyond Oct last year on the status of approval on the pipeline. Interesting that Donlin is 50% owned by NovaGold who according to its website has a cash balance of $169M. Novametals / Novagold - I understand there are no biz ties but on a name basis sounds a natural merge.

The proposed 315 mile pipeline's first gold mine stop is near Estelle which is 110 miles from Anchorage. Might make sense to merge and develop the Estelle project before extending it to Donlin?

I believe the gas pipe line is 14" which from my quick review could cost around $120M per 100kms. Donlin is around 200miles or 320kms further away. Might be in the order of $300m to $400m additional cost.

Pure conjecture ofcourse....
