The delays are not helping. The share prices are at around all time lows for both VEN and MEL. MEL is in a disagreement with their creditor and they may have to raise money at near all time lows. The share price would have been higher and MEL would have had more cash if Vali 2 and Vali 3 were connected on time. So, the delays are the root cause of the problem IMO
VEN can make a script offer for MEL, meaning no cash has to be paid. However, VEN will also have to deal with MEL's creditor as well.
