Nope, I don't see any down rating on my credit score before and after getting Zip pay, and I'm still sitting at top 20% of Aussies. What this tells us is nothing wrong with using credit card to pay off Zip, it's just counted as a normal credit card transaction. God knows where that dodgy Sunny got his/her information. Just fear mongering.
